Proverb illustration: Love on a turd

“Kjærligheten faller like lett på en lort som på en lilje.”

“Love falls just as easy
on a turd as on a lily.”

An illustration I made for a norwegian proverb I thought was funny and would make for an interesting drawing. It doesn’t translate very well to other languages, like most proverbs, but this one really isn’t all that bad.
I used a dip pen, waterproof india ink, and aquarelle paints.
