Proverb illustration: Fair child

“Fagert barn ser mange blide øyne.”

“A fair child sees many smiling eyes.”

Here I have illustrated a norwegian proverb I thought would make for an interesting drawing. I’m not sure how clear my interpretation is, but I guess that leaves some room for other interpretations.
Made using waterproof india ink, dip pen, and aquarelle paints.
