Poverb illustration: Cattle people

“Det blir aldri folk av fe.”

“Cattle will never become people.”

Heres another norwegian proverb for ya. The word for cattle has some double meaning of both cattle and stupid person that gets lost, and the word for people means, in this context, decent person. I guess it could be argued that “A cow will never become a person.” is a better translation when the true meaning is considered, but I like “Cattle people” as a title far better than “Cow person”, and I want to be consistent, so there. This is where we are.
